Disclaimer and Warranty

MailboxSavior® is intended to assist homeowners in prolonging the useful life of their mailbox and the wooden post on which it is mounted. MailboxSavior ®is designed to help protect a common mailbox with dimensions of 19” long, 6.5” wide, 8.5” high (formerly referred to as a “T1” mailbox by the U.S. Postal Service) mounted on a post with nominal dimensions of 4”x4.” To be effective at its purpose, MailboxSavior must be properly affixed to a mailbox post that is in good condition, free of cracks or damage and is installed as per U.S. Postal Service guidelines, https://www.usps.com/manage/mailboxes.htm. The mailbox itself must be securely fastened to the post with wood screws or other effective fasteners. As per the written instructions found at https://mailboxsavior.com/how-it-works, MailboxSavior must also be secured to the ground via the supplied ground screw and tie-down wire.

At MailboxSavior, we have tested our products both in the field and under controlled circumstances and are confident that they can be an important part of a homeowner’s efforts to mitigate mailbox and post damage that results from plowed snow colliding with a mailbox. The protection of mailboxes and mailbox posts from winter-related damage is, however, subject to many variables impacting effectiveness including but not limited to things such as weather (temperature, wind speed), vandalism, snow plow size and velocity, physical properties of accumulated snow and slush present on a given day. We offer a limited 1-year warranty on the materials and workmanship of MailboxSavior (please see warranty information below). Due to the multiplicity of variables impacting the protection of mailboxes and mailbox posts in winter, we are unable to guarantee that MailboxSavior can prevent all damage to a mailbox or post in all circumstances. 

STANDARD ONE YEAR MANUFACTURER LIMITED WARRANTY: 

MailboxSavior, LLC warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal residential use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year for the original invoice date. Shipping and handling fees are to be paid for by the customer. MailboxSavior, LLC agrees, at its option during the warranty period, to repair any defect in material or workmanship or to furnish a repaired or refurbished product of equal value in exchange without charge (except for a fee for shipping, handling, packing, return postage, and insurance which will be incurred by the customer). Such repair or replacement is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction and proof of purchase as confirmed by showing the model number on original dated sales receipt. 

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS: This warranty does not include:  

Any condition resulting from other than ordinary residential wear or any use for which the product was not intended, such as use in rental or contract trade or commercial use.  

Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance or care.  

Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents or shipping damage.  

Dissatisfaction due to buyer’s remorse.

Normal wear and tear.

Damages incurred during transportation.

Damages incurred during assembly or maintenance.

Any used, previously displayed items.

CLAIM PROCEDURES: All warranty claims must be filed by the consumer to MailboxSavior, LLC regarding any warranty return or replacement. Please retain invoices for a minimum of one year for warranty purposes. Claims for defective merchandise must be made within ONE year from invoice date. Claims for missing parts must be made within 60 calendar days after the merchandise is received. We reserve the right to specify that items be returned to the original warehouse for inspection or be inspected by our representative in the field  Pictures are required to claim defective merchandise, along with a copy of the original invoice. If the claim is justified, the item(s) or part(s) will be repaired or replaced or a credit will be issued. It is our policy to replace parts whenever possible This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
